In early 2024, Ravenswood was selected as one of just three cities in West Virginia to join the prestigious OnTrac program, administered by Main Street West Virginia in partnership with Main Street America. This marked the beginning of Downtown Ravenswood Partners and our focused efforts to breathe new life into our historic downtown.

Guided by the city's Comprehensive Plan and with support from Mayor Josh Miller, City Council, and the Fund for Ravenswood, revitalizing downtown became a top priority. With the hiring of our first Executive Director, Molly Washburn, and the dedication of local volunteers, we began building a future where downtown Ravenswood is once again the center of community life—a place that’s vibrant, welcoming, and rooted in pride.
